چکیده
Urea-formaldehyde is one of the commonly used resin types in particleboard industry. In this study, effect nanofibrillated cellulose (NFC) and titanium dioxide (TiO2) addition formulation urea formaldehyde on physical, mechanical, morphological properties samples was investigated. The NFC (0.5% 1%) TiO2 (0.5%, 1%, 2%) were added to 10% adhesive formulation. Two different pressure times, 4 8 min, applied during production samples. Subsequently, water absorption (WA), thickness swelling (TS), internal bonding strength (IB), modulus rupture (MOR), elasticity (MOE), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), statistical analysis test determined. values ranged from 19.9% 34.9% WA 74.50% 110.6%. However, maximum MOR, MOE, IB 22.2 MPa, 2570 1.1 respectively.

For the development of a cost-effective melamine-modified urea formaldehyde resin (MUF), the study evaluated the effects of reaction pH and melamine content on resin properties and bond performance of the MUF resin adhesive systems. Eight resins, each with three replicates, were prepared in a factorial experiment that included two formulation variables: two reaction pHs (i.e., 4.5 and 8.0) and ...

Titanium dioxide (TiO2) is a well-studied photocatalyst that is known to break down organic molecules upon ultraviolet (UV) irradiation. Cellulose nanofibers (CNFs) act as an attractive matrix material for the suspension of photocatalytic particles due to their desirable mechanical and optical properties. In this work, TiO2-CNF composite films were fabricated and evaluated for photocatalytic ac...
